Our story

In 2023 I Krystal and my husband Allen purchased this farm from his mom and dad, who had purchased it from Allen's grandparents. The farm has always had jerseys and Holsteins grazing the pastures and walking the show rings. But in 2025, we made the hard decision to stop selling milk commercially. The biggest reason for this was the state of the structures of the farm. A lot of work is needed and the farm was only being able to sustain itself. As more repairs kept piling up we were going behind with accounts we knew we needed to change and quickly. We sold 10 cows at a sale in Rosebush mi and found that there was a big demand for A2A2 genetics as well as herdshare cows. This realization helped us make the decision to start our own herdshare as well as do the nesseccary work to sell future cattle to herdshare farms. We now have 11 animals in the barn and most will go to new homes. It is a sincere hope that with the herdshare we can have 20 cows again and keep more of our girls.
